During the open day of HAN Automotive on March 19, 2016, Volante organized an annual reunion for the graduates from the years 1990 to 1996. The last batches from Apeldoorn.

Some fifty graduates from the aforementioned groups and former teacher Mr. Schutte took the trouble to come to Arnhem.

After the reception, the attendees were informed about the activities of alumni association Volante and the department coordinator Annemiek Delissen gave a presentation about HAN Automotive and the educational innovation in which the course is in the middle. Where previously the first presentation was given at graduation, the so-called professional skills currently have a very different place in the study program.

After the presentations, the attendees were distributed around four groups by students. The planned hour turned out to be a bit short. The interest for the student teams, laboratories and projects was very high. Many graduates arrived a little later than planned in room 99 for networking and drinks. Even there it was fun for a long time.

It was a successful meeting that may be continued in 2017 with a grand happening because it was 75 years ago that the Car Engineering study program was started in 1942 in Apeldoorn.
